Urban Tandoor offers an unbeatable buffet experience that feels both indulgent and welcoming. With a spread that includes a rich variety of Indian and Nepali dishes—each prepared with care—you can enjoy everything from hearty curries to the best momos in the DMV area, all for just $15 on weekdays and $17 on weekends...

The location is conveniently positioned at an intersection and therefore peaked my interest. I finally made it and I was not disappointed. The food was good and service 💯. We enjoyed a great dinner of tandoori chicken, lamb biryani and other delightful dishes.

Excellent place for Indian food. Lunch buffet was great ($15 weekdays, $17 weekends) and it was not crowded. Only tip for mgmt is to make the food hotter. There is a cozy atmosphere with a bar area as well.

If anyone asks about my favorite Nepali and Indian cuisine, it's definitely Urban Tandoor! The food here is amazing. I've been there five times—four for the buffet and once just for momo. Their momo is the best, especially with the achar—it instantly takes me back home to Nepal.

I have dined all over the US , but the Indo-Nepalese cuisine of Urban Tandoor remains unmatched . I live in DC and I don’t mind driving an hour to taste their delicious mo:mos.

Absolutely delicious. The goat cheese naan was to die for, paired with the lamb korma and you will not be disappointed. Also ordered the sweet corn soup and we inhaled it. The cocktails are also well done. Highly recommend the Mumbai Manhattan!

The food was incredibly flavorful and the service was highly impressive... Must visit if you’re a fan of Indo-Nepalese cuisine or trying it for the first time :)))))

I have come here a few times for the lunch buffet - there’s everything you could ask for - naan , rice, spinach paneer, butter chicken, lentils, etc. a good sampling of great tasting Indian food (or I guess American Indian food, as I’m not sure if any of these dishes resemble what would actually show up on a table in India) but to my palate everything tastes just fine!

The best Nepali restaurant in the DMV area! I've visited 2-3 times and would return whenever I can. Their MOMO's are the bestt!!!

You get a large thing of rice, great garlic naan with a good amount of garlic and some of the best butter chicken in the area. I love the butter chicken so much I don't even try other options but I've heard good things about the other options. If you're debating on spice level I'd suggest medium as it's not bad the times I've gotten it

Really terrific lunch buffet. The butter chicken is especially tasty. An unusual dish is the mixed pickle. Nothing like it in my (admittedly limited) dining experience.

Excellent food, especially the Tandoori dishes, but everything is tasty & reasonably priced. Attentive service, always careful to ask everyone the level of spiciness (mild to very hot) they'd like. In our home neighborhood, so we visit fairly often & always order double so there's plenty to take home for another great meal!

I’ve visited for both the buffet and lunch, and each time the experience has been fantastic! The staff is friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. Highly recommend this spot if you’re after good food, well-made drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere. Adding more vegetarian options would make it even better.

I got the $15 BUFFALO Chow-Mein. Absolutely amazing! For 15 dollars you get a massive bowl that could be passed off for 2 people. The buffalo is great, who knew. In town for a trip, wish I could come back more.

I have been getting take-out here for years and the food never disappoints. I typically get the goat cheese naan, vegetable samosas, and butter chicken. All very good and is my go-to place for Indian food.
